Cookie Policy

1. Strictly necessary cookies

These keep couples signed in and carry a checkout session through payment. They are set by our sign-in provider (Clerk) and by Stripe during checkout. The service does not work without them, so they cannot be switched off from within the site.

2. Preferences stored in your browser

Some invitation designs remember a choice you made (for example a language selection) in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, so you are not asked again. Nothing in that storage identifies you or is sent to us.

When you choose a language or a currency for this site, we remember it in two cookies, eh_locale and eh_currency, for up to one year. They hold only a language code and a currency code, identify no one, and are needed to show the site in the language and currency you chose.

3. Analytics

We load optional analytics only after you choose Accept, or turn on Analytics in Cookie settings. Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics on selected public pages: the home page, collections, registered collection pages, packages, the journal and its registered posts, and launch list. Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visits. We send the public page path, a fixed page title, and an empty referrer. We also measure collection views, demo opens, new launch-list entries, and completed couple account signups. We do not send names, email addresses, account IDs, or private redirect links to Google. We do not use Google Analytics on guest invitations or private dashboards.

Microsoft Clarity is separate from basic analytics. It records clicks, scrolling, and page changes on selected public pages only when you turn on Session insights in Cookie settings, or choose Accept all there. Accept on the first notice does not turn it on. Its recording text is fully masked. It does not load on guest invitations or private dashboards, or on public URLs with a query or fragment. Clarity may use _clck and _clsk cookies after this choice. We do not connect Clarity to an ad account.

PostHog and Vercel Analytics are disabled by default. We can enable them only after we approve a separate reporting purpose. If enabled, they also wait for analytics consent, and PostHog uses cookieless mode without session replay. We store your choices in local storage under eh_analytics_consent_v1 for up to 180 days, then ask again. A previous analytics choice does not enable Clarity. This preference is needed to respect your choice.

We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell any data collected this way.

4. Google Ads measurement

Accept turns on analytics and ad measurement together. In Cookie settings, you can turn on analytics without ad measurement. With this choice, Google Analytics can share permitted conversion data with our linked Google Ads account. Ad personalization remains off.

After this choice, we retain approved Google, Meta, TikTok, and campaign identifiers in local storage under eh_attribution_v1 for up to 30 days. Google click identifiers can also use session storage under eh_google_ads_click_v1. Google can use advertising measurement cookies such as _gcl_*. We do not store arbitrary URLs, form content, names, email addresses, guest data, or account IDs in these records.

Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel are not active in this release. Their identifiers support a later reviewed setup. We will update this notice before those providers receive browser events.

We store the last measured signup session identifier locally to avoid counting a page reload as a new signup. This identifier is not sent to Google. You can remove it by clearing this site's browser storage.

5. Guests and RSVP links

A guest opening an invitation link is not asked to create an account, and we do not track guests across other websites or measure their visit at all. A guest's reply is protected by the private link itself, not by a cookie.

6. Managing cookies

Choose Cookie settings in the footer to accept or reject optional analytics and session insights at any time. Rejection stops future optional analytics, ends Clarity recording in the current document, and removes accessible Google Analytics, Clarity, and ad measurement cookies. It also removes stored attribution identifiers. It does not delete data already sent to providers. You can also view, block, or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies can prevent sign-in and checkout from working.
