Legal
Cookie Policy
Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. This policy explains which ones Everleigh House sets, what each is for, and how to refuse the ones that are not essential.
Last updated: April 2026. This document is a placeholder for your legal review. Replace with counsel-approved copy before launch.
1. Strictly necessary cookies
These keep couples signed in, protect forms against cross-site request forgery, and carry a checkout session through payment. The service does not work without them, so they cannot be switched off from within the site.
2. Preference cookies
These remember choices you have made — for example a language selection inside an invitation, or a dismissed prompt — so you are not asked again on your next visit.
3. Analytics
Where analytics are enabled, they are used only in aggregate to understand which pages are reached and where visitors leave. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell any data collected this way.
4. Guests and RSVP links
A guest opening an invitation link is not asked to create an account, and we do not track guests across other websites. Cookies set on an invitation exist to keep their reply intact while they complete it.
5. Managing cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in, checkout, and RSVP submission from working.
